Introduction :
Education is necessary for society to function easy. It supplies people with morals, beliefs, skills and knowledge that they can utilize throughout their life, it is also essential for any kind of development. The purpose of education is to enlighten the individual and develop his/her capacity to the limit. It helps us distinguish between right and wrong, helps to make right choices. The necessity of education cannot be described in words. Hence the INFINITY FOUNDATION will take on the following things.
1. To promote public private partnerships in attaining basic education for all through multiple delivery systems (up to elementary and including early childhood and literacy for empowerment) with special focus on disadvantaged communities and girls by direct support to private and NGOs schools in the form of grants and loans. Support through loans and grants may be used for establishment of facilities, teacher training, training in general, teacher support, curriculum support and resource centres.
2. To support initiatives in secondary education especially the technical stream including Information Technology (IT) literacy managed by NGOs and private sector on no profit basis.
3. To extend assistance to existing special needs initiatives within existing mainstream programs to address needs of children. Also Infinity Foundation would like to explore the initiatives lists below to increase its social outreach for building educated nation.
4. Village health committee to train healthcare workers/volunteers.
Enrolment : NGO helps in identifying the most vulnerable children in the poorest states of India. Due to inaccessibility and poverty, children miss out on school. INFINITY India helps enrol children in school under the Right to Education Act (RTE). Children who have dropped out and missed few years of schooling, INFINITY provides them with gap classes which help them get enrolled in their age-appropriate grade.
Awareness and Counselling : Through workshops and various activities, awareness is generated amongst parents and local communities about the importance of education. INFINITY will also conducts regular counselling sessions to encourage parents to send their children especially girls to school and help them participate in various activities.
Skill-Development Workshops : Learning activities, sports and school committees help children in personality development and leadership. INFINITY India conducts multiple activities in schools that help them learn their rights, build skills and develop confidence.
Teach For India : ‘One day all children will attain an excellent education’- a vision that defines Teach For India, a Teach To Lead project that encourages young college graduates and professionals to take up two years of full-time teaching sessions under resourced schools. In an effort to provide quality education to all, Infinity Foundation will take the initiative and will work towards eradicating the high inequality present in Indian education system.
